Getting Your Deposit Back

If your landlord keeps a part, or all, of your deposit, they must provide you with an itemized list of any deductions made.  The landlord must send this list and any remaining deposit money to you within 30 days of your moving out or 15 days after receiving a forwarding address, whichever is later.  It is your obligation to give your landlord a forwarding address.
