New LEP Policy

As you all know, Utah Legal Services is committed to delivering high quality legal services to clients in every language while respecting their cultural background.

As part of this process, the LEP (Limited English Proficiency)workgroup at the statewide meeting reviewed and revised ULS' LEP policy. You may review the proposed policy here.

Since we are obligating staff and resources to this plan, we would like your comments. Please review the policy and send comments to Craige by June 30, 2011.

After the comment period, we will make any further revisions needed and then make it final.

Update:  This policy is now in effect.  All staff were trained on the policy in August and should be now following it.
