First Tuesday Update
In case you missed our monthly conference call, here's what you missed:
A welcome to our new employees - Alison Adams and Sandy Villanueva in Ogden and Marissa Knell in Provo.
An overview of financials, including new money from LSC and AOA money pushed into the next fiscal year when the DOJ funding goes away. Several acronyms adding up to an outlook that for now we'll sum up as
"holding steady."
A note on And Justice For All funding, which is running a bit behind last year (10%), several staff and 3 of our attorneys aren't donating yet - please consider a donation in any amount. Telling the law firms our staff donate to the cause really helps with the arm-twisting.
A thank you to Cynthia for finding a great client to speak at the AJ4A kick off event. Both Cynthia and the client did a great job there.
A review of the January Board meeting, which included presentations on pro bono by Brenda and review of technology projects, automated domestic pleadings and on-line intake, from Craige and Ken.
And finally, a reminder from Ken to read his e-mail on viruses carefully and take extra caution when you are on the internet.
Any questions or concerns about these items, or something else?
Please let Eric know.
